Tony’s CRX is finally going back together since its rebuild here at BRMS. This has been a long one. Tony brought us an engine originally built by another shop for complete install and BRMS turbo kit. Long story short. After building and fabricating the turbo kit, installing additional parts for this build, and initial start up. We come to find out the block was never notched for eagle rods! It was tough to turn the engine by hand when Tony brought it originally, we assumed it was just tight from sitting months after the first initial rebuild, maybe even rusted bore, who knew?.. It was a matter of minutes idling before the engine became damaged. And two of the 79mm sleeves where out out of round, that required Darton to build 2 more sleeves since we were out of bore room! Tell me about it! NOW, With everything proper & completely rebuilt, notched, 2 new sleeves from Darton , Ross 79mm Pistons, Eagle Rods, Calico Coated ACLs and everything as it should be by us. We are ready to get him on the road. Long time waiting, we are on the final road. Check back for dyno results for this setup.
