Many of you that are members on www.CarolinaHondas.com or just locals from the Hickory area have seen or heard of the infamous Ricky Taylor, and last week we got the chance to strap his all motor B-Series beast to the rollers for some fun runs along with Josh’s super clean gold EG hatch, Wes’s all motor EK coupe, and Richard’s $100 turbo car (yes he has $100 in it, car, turbo, and all!).
If you are a local, and you know Ricky, you also know his right hand man, Josh. Josh’s EG hatch is probably one of the cleanest looking hatches around sporting a bright gold paint job, 15″ wheels, JDM front lip, and several other JDM goodies. I would be careful pulling up to this little hatch at the stop light, it might surprise you 
Ricky’s other right hand man, I guess that would be his left hand man….hahaha, is Wes. Wes brought his car in for some fun runs last week too and the engine bay of this all motor EK coupe is one of the cleanest in the area.
To round out the Hickory Honda Racer fab four is Richard. Richard is pretty proud of his latest accomplishment, a $100 project EF turbo hatch! That’s right….$100.00 total including the car!! Complete with custom home made turbo kit this car put down some numbers that would shock you! We even managed to squeeze a few more horses out of this beast via the Home Depot brass valve controlling the fuel…..ugh I mean leaning it out a little with the custom fuel pressure regulator. Hahaha Seriously though, this car put down some nice numbers on the stock engine, Nissan turbo, and custom HX turbo manifold with adapter plate This car sounds sweet too! Don’t let this one fool you next time you are cruising in Hickory! This car put out over 170 wheel ponies and that was on stock boost and $100!
